Jakarta, 29 September 2026 – The Indonesian Fintech Association (AFTECH) held Strategic Dialogue 2026 with regulators and stakeholders to discuss the direction of a digital finance industry that is increasingly connected to the needs of the real sector. The dialogue stressed that fintech should not only widen access to financial services but also drive business productivity and Indonesia’s economic growth.
The discussion covered several strategic sectors, from financing, insurance, payments, investment and digital assets to stronger digital infrastructure. Developing these sectors requires an integrated ecosystem supported by data utilisation, regulatory harmonisation, cross-sector partnerships, and better talent and industry capabilities.
Through Strategic Dialogue 2026, AFTECH continues to encourage collaboration between industry, regulators, and government to align digital finance priorities with the needs of the national economy. The initiative is part of AFTECH’s commitment to building a fintech ecosystem that is more productive, trusted, inclusive, and able to make a real impact on Indonesia’s economic growth.
