Jakarta, 6 October 2026 – The Indonesian Fintech Association (AFTECH) held the Editor in Chief Gathering: Road to BFN 2026, a dialogue forum with media editors-in-chief to discuss the development and future direction of Indonesia’s fintech industry. The meeting highlighted a maturing industry whose focus goes beyond wider access to financial services to improving people’s financial well-being, strengthening trust, and contributing to the real sector.
Through this dialogue, AFTECH emphasised the media’s role as a strategic partner in improving digital financial literacy, building public trust, and broadening public understanding of the benefits and progress of the fintech industry.
On this occasion, AFTECH also introduced National Fintech Month (BFN) 2026 with the theme “Fintech All Around You”. The initiative is expected to strengthen collaboration between industry, media, and stakeholders in delivering digital financial innovation that is more relevant, inclusive, trusted, and impactful for Indonesia’s economic growth.
